Air Conditioning Installations

ASCompressor
American Standard Compressor

The Company does installations of central air conditioning systems. Typically, this process involves the installation of an inside the house air handler, usually in the attic, and a condenser unit which is usually located outside the house. Piping is then installed connecting the condenser unit to the air handler and ductwork is run from the air handler for distribution of cooled air to the rooms that are to be air conditioned.

The company also does condominium installations in which the air handler and condenser unit are both located inside, as well as installation of ductless systems, where there is only need for air conditioning in a specific room or in an area of a house not readily accessible from a central air conditioning system.

The installation process begins with a visit to the customer’s residence to scope out the extent of the work that will be involved and any unusual installation problems that might arise. The requirements with respect to the cooling capacities of air handler and condenser would also be determined at this time. From this information an estimate is prepared for the customer’s approval. All such estimates are done on a no charge basis.

The Company normally uses American Standard air handlers and condensers for its central air conditioning installations. However, other manufacturers’ equipment is used when it is more suited for specific applications. The Company also installs wall air conditioners and compact closet air handlers where appropriate for the particular circumstances. Hydrocoil air pumps may also be installed with central air to provide both cooling and heat.
