The Company offers maintenance and repair service for central air conditioning systems, including beginning of the season tune-ups and testing to help ensure reliable and efficient operation. Central air conditioning systems have many inter-related components which because of their nature and the environment in which they operate, may require repair, adjustment and maintenance from time to time.
Annual preventative maintenance to help ensure the system is functioning properly and in a cost effective manner is recommended. Depending upon the specific circumstances, checking and then adjusting or fixing as necessary the following items might be included as part of the annual preventative maintenance:
- The amount of refrigerant
- Airflow over evaporator and condenser coils
- Cleaning or replacing filters
- Cleanliness and condition of blower fans
- Cleanliness and condition of coil fins
- Cleanliness and condition of condensate drains and drain lines
- Cleanliness of coils
- Ductwork airflow and leakage
- Electrical wiring and connections
- Lubrication of motors and other moving parts
- Overall performance of system
- Refrigerant leaks
- Refrigerant temperature and pressure
