This glossary is intended to provide abbreviated non-technical explanations of heating and cooling system’s principal component parts and common terminology associated with those systems to help our customers obtain a better general understanding of how their systems work than they might otherwise have. Because of differences in individual system installations and variations in different manufacturers’ equipment, the applicability of the following information may vary one situation to next.
