Brown’s Oil and Air is selling and delivering premium quality wood pellets in quantities of 1 or more tons will be made to greater Boston and North Shore and South Shore communities within 60 miles of the Company’s headquarters at 242 Hillside Avenue, Needham. Wood pellets (by the ton or by individual 40 lb bag) may also be picked up by customers at the Company’s Needham headquarters. Our pickup hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm at our Needham location.

Wood pellet prices tend to be more stable than traditional fossil fuels such as fuel oil and natural gas, since they are less directly affected by speculators seeking to profit from price swings on commodities exchanges and by the economies and events occuring in other countries which can influence the commodities markets. Wood pellet prices however are subject to the effects of changing production and distribution costs, seasonal and supply and demand factors, and competitive pricing practices.
